Presentation work has included producing large scale boards for competitions and award events, such as the celebration of Peabody Housing Association’s 150th Anniversary.
I created a series of information graphics used in a competition for a centre housing an Envac sustainable vacuum waste collection system. The diagrams communicate the use of solar energy and localised high water table levels that could be harnessed to sustain a greenhouse, as a community engagement part of the scheme.
For the FBM office trip to Porto, Portugal in 2017 I produced a digital map using My Maps in Google alongside a folded print map. The designs and research proved a success; enabling the practice to tour places of architectural interest in a short period of time by following bespoke walking routes I set up in the maps for them.
FBM participated in an Open Studio event. As part of the preparation for the activities involved, I worked with the architects researching the history of the area surrounding the office and collated a walking route hand-out leaflet. The leaflet helped to connect visitors to places of historical interest, encouraging them to take their own photos of existing details to add them to a historical (colour coded) locator diagram back in the office, after completing the walk.
As part of a series of after work office social events, I ran architecturally themed collage workshops. They proved popular and were a good way to socialise, unwind after work and be creative together.
